It's too late now, but...

It's too late now, but I wonder if LGDs could have been used to intimidate the species (Tasmanian Devils) in order to maintain the balance of "endangered predators" and "non-threatened native prey species" on Maria Island.

Why were the Little Penguins on Middle Island given so much protection while the Little Penguins on Maria Island were LITERALLY THROWN TO THE WOLVES / TASMANIAN DEVILS?

We can at least be happy for the Middle Island Little Penguins, but we can't close our eyes to what's happening to the Maria Island Little Penguins as of 2012.
